Maple Street isn't like getting a breakfast biscuit from other places, it's so much more! Although my first visit with the chicken biscuit wasn't great, my last 4 with a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit have been fabulous & I will continue to visit!

I really like this location. The employees are always so nice and helpful. This visit I had 'The Farmer' and my daughter ordered 'The Sticky Maple'. We also tried 'The Fried Green Tomatoes', they were pretty tasty. Seasoned really well like chicken, lol. Well I did not like 'The Farmer' too much as the apple butter was more like apple sauce texture as it kept falling off and I did not need the extra that I asked for, than smoother like butter texture. My daughter really enjoyed her 'Sticky Maple'. The biscuit itself is always soft and delicious. The best ever!!

Maple Street is a great restaurant, with a wide variety of biscuit styles to choose from. I would recommend one, but you can't go wrong with any of them. If you have the option to go to the location in San Marco, I would go there. They almost always give out free biscuits once you've paid.

Try the Sticky Maple! It is the perfect breakfast biscuit with a touch of sweetness. They have the best coffee, and they just began serving specialty coffees too. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is my new favorite breakfast restaurant! I personally do not care for eggs or pancakes so breakfast is not always an exciting experience for me, but Maple Street Biscuit was so yummy. I had the Reinhold, it had pickles, honey mustard sauce on a biscuit with chicken. I ate that whole thing up! It was so good. This restaraunt was highly recommended to me and I highly recommend it!

Good, reasonably-priced food. I'll definitely be back again. The biscuit "sandwiches" range in price from $3.50 (egg and cheese) through $8 (chicken, bacon, cheese, sausage gravy, and egg). My "The Ralphie," biscuits with sausage gravy, was one of the cheapest items at $5. I liked it and may get it again, though I'd probably try a different item on the menu next time to see if I can find something I like even better. We had a group of five and were brought over two complimentary iced cinnamon pecan biscuits. They're in an icing-like sauce (it would probably harden into icing). I liked them too. Surprisingly, they don't have the classic chicken and biscuits. I also didn't see a favorite from my youth: biscuits with honey. Now that I'm looking at a picture of a menu online I see that you can get a biscuit and honey separately for $2 total. I'll try that for dessert next time I'm here. They also have a berry jam I might like to try. And another missing classic they might consider adding: strawberry shortcake. The restaurant is counter service. When you order they'll ask you the "question of the day," which I saw on a chalkboard behind the counter. Your answer is what they'll call out when you're food is ready. It was a bit hard to hear as they had music playing, but someone else in my party told me they'd called mine. You'll then pick it up at the counter. Our seating was stools on long communal tables (I believe there were smaller tables too), so it wasn't high on comfort. They ask you to bus your own tables. For good food and prices I'll definitely be back to try more items.

Truly one of the best breakfasts in the US. This is a small chain started in Jacksonville who refuses to cut corners. The menu is focused yet varied and the ingredients are amazing. I'd highly recommend making time for this stop if you're nearby.

This was my first time at this location and it was so big and nice! It was very clean and soon as I walked in I smelled the coffee! Yummmmmm! I haven't been in awhile so I've noticed how the menus has changed and they've added some more delicious stuff. The first few times I went I always got the farmer. Which is a biscuit with chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and apple butter. It was really good! But today one of the workers (I hate that I don't recall his name) told me about some top choices and he really guided me in the right direction because that hash up dish was so good! The potatoes were so seasoned, the peppers and onions were delicious. The ham was DELICIOUS!! I can not wait to go back. Oh how I've missed Maple Street!

Had the Five and Dime! Almost too much on one biscuit. I think I would've liked a more simple chicken biscuit or bacon egg biscuit. Enjoyed my experience here and look forward to coming back and trying more things!

The owner was there walking around making sure everything was ok. The entire staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in. The food was so good. Will definitely come back when we are in town.

This place never disappoints. We each had The Five with a side of Fried Green Tomatoes. The manager brought us out a complimentary pecan glazed biscuit which was to die for. I didn't have that high expectations going there for their dinner service (only Fri and Sat) but it was just as great as their breakfast!

If you love biscuits, if you love coffee, if you love a comfortable atmosphere, then go here. The fried chicken is perfectly done. The bacon is crisp and thick. The maple bark coffee is endlessly hypnotic. I do love it here and it's always a safe bet.

We love Maple Street! Maple Street is counter service biscuit sandwiches. After placing your order, you can join others at the large communal tables or find a smaller table for just your group. Fill your coffee mug with the many varieties of fresh on the spot roasted coffee and wait for your "question of the month" answer to be called. My kids love the chicken biscuits. I never stray far from the Ralphie Deluxe (spicy biscuits and gravy with a fried egg). The Hash-ups are fried potatoes with yummy ham, onions and peppers. My husband and parents are working their way through the menu and have yet to hit a clunker. The sweet biscuits are so good! Take some time and talk to the coffee roasters; we've even bought green beans to roast ourselves. There is always a bag of Maple Tap on hand at home for morning coffee when there isn't time for Maple Street! The management here works very hard but is always open to a quick chat about the restaurant. They give it a "Mom and Pop" feel. Thank you Maple Street for coming to Julington Creek!

Randomly came across this place recommended by yelp while in town for a wedding. At first this was the number one decision, but after getting to the car we decided to be adventuous. Long story short, we ended up here anyways. My only complaint about this place was that it was slightly confusing when you first walked in. It is not a sit down breakfast joint. You have to walk up and order from the board above them. That's cool too I like doing things myself. I got the farmer and holy moly in my mouth! I'm not a fan of bacon so I got mine without. I'm also not a big fan of sweet things for breakfast, but it was literally what heaven would be like- homemade apple butter. You are my new found love. My friend got the five and dime. It too was magnifique! Alas, the oh so delicious David's hashups. If you want a hearty breakfast, get this side. It also comes in a vegetarian style. I almost forgot the best part. THE CINNAMON ROLL. Soft, ooey, gooey, melts in your mouth kind of cinnamon roll. It has pecans and cranberries. The icing flowed like lava. By the way, if you visit here, they'll ask you a random question. Your answer to the question is what you listen for to know your food is ready. It's kind of fun to hear what other people's answers were. Ours was: if you could go anywhere in the world where would it be? My immediate response: PATAGONIA.

My absolute favorite spot. The Reinhold is excellent choice if you want more than just a gravy bIscuit. Did I say JUST a gravy biscuit?? Whether you are adventurous or not you will find something you love here. Even if it is JUST the best gravy Biscuit EVER!

Biscuits baby! This is the brand spankin' newest of the Maple Street locations (as of this point, plans are definitely in the works for more) but you can still expect the same quality and awesome biscuit here. The popularity and growth of our local and beloved biscuit joint has been unmatched with anything else I've seen here, and it's so amazing to see some local boys do so good. This store is a bit bigger than all the others, and seems like something JC might have needed! It's just behind the main plaza, so if you take a left on Race Track, you'll see it on your left hand side. Big, bright, clean and airy, this location offers outside seating, with a lovely view. What is super cool and unique about this one, is they roast all of their coffee here. (I knew the coffee was excellent, but didn't realize they roast their own!) You can see the process taking place in the store, which is open for everyone to see. Very neat! And just like the other locations, you can expect the same favorites (it's hard for me to order anything but the Ralphie Deluxe... THAT GRAVY MAN!) and super friendly service with a smile. Open M-T for breakfast lunch, and dinner on Fri and Sat, and just perfect for biscuits "just like my granny used to make" quick bite. :)

Yes so happy they made a Maple Street closer to where I live!! This is a beautiful free standing building ( good job Mark!:)) painted green, so you know when you see it. When you go in, it is bright airy, open, and huge inside! Alot of space to enjoy a really delicious biscuit.......and they do them right, crispy on the outside and flakey buttery on the inside. I went with the squalking goat- biscuit, fried chicken, fried goat cheese medallion, pepper jelly........oh my gosh so good!!! These sandwiches are so big how do you get it all in your mouth? I have my technique! lol I eat the top biscuit with the innards, then eat the bottom biscuit with some Jelly or Jam......delish!

There are not enough good words to express how amazing this place is!!! First off, if your on a diet, good luck staying on it in here. The biscuits are the best I have ever had! The gravy is to die for. I am not a gravy fan but this one is just heaven. The chicken is great. Actually everything I have had here is just perfect. The service is always great. The restaurant is clean and I couldn't ask for anything more!! Just as good as the flagship restaurant.

I've been to the San Marco location before and have loved the food there. Since my wife and I were under a bit of time constraint, we decided to try this location. First, lots of choices on the menu. Who knew that there were so many ways to serve a biscuit. After much consideration and advise from the restaurant, we made our choices. Interesting aspect of MSBC, is that they always ask you some interesting question. Your order is then under your answer. A few minutes later, they called out our order and we picked it up. On the positive side, each of our orders were very tasty. However, our order was not very hot. In particular, the sweet potato fries were just luke warm. They were tasty but not toasty. I guess that's what you get when you show up at a restaurant just before closing. I'll definitely be trying MSBC again and this location since it is conveniently located.

I came here for breakfast for the first time last week and I loved it! The food is good and freshly made. One of the waiters brought our table a free sample of the cinnamon biscuits and they were really good! I will absolutely be back again! One of my new favorite breakfast spots and I would definitely recommend it!

Vegetarians beware! Vegans stay away. Unless you want biscuits and chicken for breakfast, go somewhere else. This breakfast restaurant has no pancakes or French toast, just biscuits and gravy and chicken biscuit sandwiches. Nothing even remotely healthy or low fat on this menu, except for maybe the apple butter. With that said, the sweet potato fries were good and the coffee was hot. I was hoping for more breakfast options, but as a vegetarian, no luck.

I love Maple Street! I love their coffee and their biscuits are amazing! It is the perfect biscuit sandwich! I just wish they would give you more food for the price you pay! Man that is a great chicken biscuit though!!

It is a nice counter service restaurant with the best breakfast in Jacksonville. I always make my own biscuit (chicken, honey, gravy) and they don't blink an eye. My husband and I get our own biscuit and share the loaded hashbrowns and we are stuffed! The manager walks around with samples and makes sure the customers are well taken care of. Downfall is they are closed on Sundays!

You guys, eat here. The experience to start is so cool. Instead of taking your name for your order, like soooo many other spots, they have a question of the day for you to answer and they call your order by that. HOW COOL? On the day we went, the question was: "What's Your Favorite Movie?" - So I went with a top 3 of mine, Good Will Hunting. The coolest thing about this was when they yelled out Weird Science, I gave props to that chick because I adore that movie. It was a cool interaction. So this just set me in the mood to love this place in addition to hearing so many great things. - The decor is very farmhouse, rustic picnic style and so clean. - They have iced coffee at their drink station, yes please! I have never seen that as an option before. - I went with The Farmer: Flaky biscuit, all natural fried chicken, pecan wood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese topped with fresh house made apple butter. Simply delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the biscuit was fluffy amazing. There was a ton of apple butter so I took some off but it mixed perfectly with the bacon. - Covered outside seating was key on this gorgeous day. - Smokey Mountain Mac-N-Cheese - Five cheese baked macaroni with cheese cracker crust. So dang creamy and the Cheez-It crumbles on top made for the perfect crunch to the cream. Dang, now I am craving this and I am writing from Orlando... please send chicken and biscuits.

I have been here before during a yelp Event. At that time i bought fried green tomatos. That day i thought they were the best ones i ever had. Perfectly well crafted. Batter was out of this world. Taste was excellent. I even bought another side order to bring home so everybody would taste them. I had been craving the fried green tomatos from this place all month. So this morning i decided to go get me a couple of orders to satisfy my cravings. I got to this place and order two side orders of fried green tomatos. 1 it took the order at least 15 mins to come out 2 i took them home and what a dissapointment. Batter was falling of and it was drenched in oil. Is like they were fried at a lower temperature than 350 degrees Batter was overpowerd with black pepper I was dissapointed with my orders. Ill try them again some other time. Maybe they were too busy today but that is no excuse to serve an oily fried dish

This place is definitely different in a good way. I got the farmer, and my fiance got the five. Both were really good, I am not a gravy person, but I think next time I will get the five, it was very good. Collard greens and sweet potato fries were pretty good! Coffee,... I would NOT pay $4 for, the maple tap had a good flavor, but all the coffee's had a very mild coffee flavor.

The biscuits were amazing. The place is super nice and clean. The service is really great, but the reason to go is the biscuits. I had the one with Spinach and goat cheese... Wow!!

Excellent food! We stopped here on our way out of town and it was so worth it! The biscuits were huge and tasty. The manager offered us a taste of their cinnamon pecan biscuits....heaven! The folks were extremely friendly and helpful.

Pros: Amazing food (we had the biscuit with mushrooms, gravy and eggs; the pecan cinnamon biscuit with frosting; and different jams with biscuits), outdoor seating, reasonable pricing, and friendly service. As first-timers, Charles (managing partner) even provided complimentary pecan cinnamon rolls and jam cups! Con: Eating here too much could result in weight gain :)

HOLY delicious! I never thought biscuits could be this good! You walk up to order, tell them your favorite band and instead of calling your name out when it's ready, they call out your favorite band, you pick up your food and find a place to sit. I loved the mix of industrial/ modern lighting and seating and the location has plenty of parking.

Not your ordinary breakfast place. I took my 80 year old mother in law for breakfast the other day, and quite honestly, there is really nothing on the menu she could eat. The food is wonderful taste, however, grandma can't handle spicy food. Tube 8 graham all, I love this place.

This took me by surprise, although it was highly recommended by friends. I didn't see all the hoopla about a biscuit. . Holy biscuit was I wrong! I was there opening day and came back a week later. All the staff was highly attentive, on both visits manager came to our table to check in on us. I posted pix of our food so I'll let the pixs do the talking on how delicious all our food was. The building is new and beautiful! I love this place and is quickly moving to top of list of my favorite places to eat.

I am thrilled to know that Maple Street Biscuit Company has opened in my area! THE RESTAURANT Walk into this restaurant and hang a left! Then, walk your way around the dining room area to the ordering counter. There is a huge menu that hangs over the counter. Regular-sized menus are available, too. The kitchen staff can be seen behind the counter which gives this restaurant a busy, casual atmosphere. This restaurant seems to be kid & family friendly. Order your meal, tell the employee at the register your favorite band name & take a seat. Once your meal is ready, your band name will be yelled out to let you know that it's time to eat! Walk back to the counter, pick up your food, & enjoy. This restaurant roasts and grinds its own coffee, so a section of the restaurant displays a large coffee grinder and is sectioned-off by a bar seating area. There is also small retail section that sells shirts, jams, etc. Wooden tables and chairs are spaciously spread around this large restaurant. Some tables were high, long, wheeled, and bar-like - plenty of room for your family & friends to share a single table. Exposed light bulbs with decorative filament hung from the high ceilings, which gave the restaurant an inviting feel. There are lots of windows and a few of them were "window garages" that reveal a small-scale garage railing indoors which seems to allow these windows to be opened on a warm sunny day. This location has outdoor seating that overlooks a lake with a fountain, which adds to the outdoor scene. Beyond the lake is a plaza on one side, the parking area and Racetrack Rd. on the other. I did not see a bicycle rack at this location, but the outdoor seating area is sectioned off by an iron fence, which, if allowed by management, would be a place to lock up a bicycle. This restaurant closes at 2:00pm. THE FOOD In general, this restaurant serves biscuit-sandwiches. That doesn't sound interesting, does it? I didn't think so, at first, either! Then I took my first bite and... WOW!!!! Everything was delicious. My sandwich sat so high that I had to eat it with a fork. There are lots of creative sandwich options, mac & cheese, hash browns, cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. There is a drink section that sells fountain Coca-Cola products, tea, and coffee. THE SERVICE This is largely a help-yourself environment, so there is no hostess - although one lady walked up to us when we first walked in, likely sensing that we were newbies! The employees behind the counter were very pleasant and seemed happy to be working. Once you have completed your meal, take your plates to the garbage can at the front of the restaurant and leave happy and full of biscuits! I can't wait to go back!

Great new concept. I say new only to learn the Julington Creek location is their 5th. I love the menu and can't wait to try more items on future visits. The sausage gravy has a nice spice level and the mashup with gravy on top was awesome. The only knock I have is that their core product, the biscuit, is good; but it isn't awesome. I'm not normally a biscuit snob, nor biscuit connoisseur, but I did work for Hardee's in the 90's. And while I have no idea how Hardee's biscuits are today, or how they may have changed, I can say that the Maple Street biscuit was not as good as a 90's era Hardee's biscuit. And back in the 90's Hardee's did up to 60% of their business at breakfast which is proof they did breakfast, and particularly biscuits, really well.

I love going to this location. There is usually no wait and the community tables are great way to socialize. Enough about that. The food is absolutely delicious. The biscuit, gravy, chicken, AND coffee are all fantastic. They roast the coffee onsite and they have 4 different flavors. Dark Amber is my favorite. The staff is friendly. I'm glad they opened one up - life is good at The Creek!
